Troupe Firecrackers: 5-9yrs - Beginner Level
Intro Troupe: 8-14yrs - Beginner Level
Our Mini Troupe Firecrackers & Intro Troupe troupes provide dancers with an introduction to a competitive dance team.
Each Troupe learns one dance piece during a one hour/week choreography class, and then compete this dance piece in two local competitions/season in the spring 2026.
Requirements
1. Mandatory troupe night of 1hr/wk:

PT Troupe Firecrackers - Wednesdays or Thursdays

PT Intro Troupe - Wed or Thurs or Fridays
2. Mandatory Weekly Ballet & Jazz Classes of 1hr/wk:

We are pleased to offer annual choreography in solos, duos, trios and small groups - in all styles!
We have the top tier choreographers to suit your dancers' needs!
IDA TEAM PLACEMENTS
Illusion Dance Arts Directors will be pleased to meet with new dancers interested in joining our Competitive Team.
Dancers 5-10yrs are placed according to age/experience.
Dancers 11yrs & up interested in Full-Time or Part-Time Troupes must attend a placement class on May 24, 2026 from 4:30-6pm at our Main Street location. Dancers 11yrs & up interested in our Intro Troupe do not have to attend placement class.
