*NOTE: ALL classes have a set dress code which can be found HERE except for Parent & Tot

Both 1st Term and 2nd Term are guaranteed to receive 14 weeks, including a technical rehearsal and recital in both terms, and photography day in the 2nd Term. We are running 15-18 weeks in Terms 1 & 2 (depending on which day your dancer has classes). Should there be a day of classes we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, classes will not be made up unless we fall beneath our allotted 14 weeks/term.

Term 1 registration online for classes closes as of September 30, 2026 for competitive & non-competitive dancers. Late registration is possible by contacting the Directors.

TERM 1: Monday, September 21 - Sunday, December 6, 2026

Holiday Showcase Rehearsals: Sunday, December 6, 2026 - exact rehearsal times for each class will be sent out closer to the show date. 

Holiday Showcase Shows: Sunday,  December 6, 2026

• Who: All non-competitive & competitive dancers

• Where: Alderney Landing Theatre

• Number Of Shows: Depending on final registration numbers in the fall, we may have to hold two shows on December 6, 2026. We will likely split our classes by the day they dance on. So one show would be for Saturday dancers and the second for Friday and Sunday dancers. Families should keep this in mind when registering more than one child for classes, in case they choose to register their children for different days. In the situation of two shows being held, competitive dancers will likely perform in both shows. 

• Tickets: Each family will be auto-invoiced by IDA for two adult tickets to our Holiday Show. Additional tickets will be sold by Alderney Landing on a first-come, first-serve basis. Families not requiring their auto-purchased tickets may sell them to another family as needed. *Note* Families with multiple children who dance with IDA, still only have two tickets reserved as this is done per family. If more tickets are desired, families are encouraged to purchase early after ticket release as our shows tend to sell out early. 

• Costumes: All Term 1 dancers will be expected to rent costumes from IDA to perform in for their show. Costumes are distributed at the venue on the day of the performance, and collected at the end of the show. Costume rentals cost $20-$30/dancer/class taken. If your dancer participates in more than one class, such as Creative and an Acro class, or a Combo class with Ballet and Jazz, they have two costumes to rent. If they take three classes, there will be three costumes and so on. We do our best to keep costume fees as low as possible. Costume invoices will be sent in mid-October 2026, with costume payments due by November 6, 2026. *Note that in Term 2, dancers will be expected to purchase costumes they keep after their show - these cost $100/dancer/class taken in Term 2 only.

FALL TERM 1 CLASSES BEGIN ON SEPT 21, 2026 AND END WITH OUR HOLIDAY SHOWS ON DECEMBER 6, 2026. 

*TERM 1 CLASSES END AS OF SAT, DEC 5, 2026 AND SHOW REHEARSALS & SHOWS REPLACE DEC 6th CLASSES.
