MADISON JARVIS

Hip Hop

Madison joined us in 2023 to teach our Hip Hop program, replacing George who has moved on from regular weekly classes due to his workshop and convention schedule. Madison has been dancing since the age of 3yrs, starting with ballet, tap, and jazz, until the age of 8yrs when she discovered her love for hip hop. She began her hip hop journey with recreational dance, but soon after decided to participate in competitive dance, with Onset Dance Company, for the past 7 years. Five years ago, Madison began teaching hip hop for ages 8yrs-18yrs and fell in love with it. She also has experience back-up dancing for local talents Jody Upshaw and Zara Matrix at many music festivals and other events within the Maritimes. She now dances for The Woods Hip Hop Company performing at local dance events.

We are thrilled to have Madison teaching at IDA this season! She is teaching on Sundays:
4-5pm: 6-10yrs Hip Hop
5-6pm: 11yrs & up Hip Hop
