ANDIE WEIR

Andie Weir is a passionate and versatile dance artist with 17 years of experience, including a decade in competitive dance. Andie grew up dancing in Dartmouth, graduated from Illusion Dance Arts in 2023, and is currently pursuing a BFA in Dance at York University. Andie has trained and taught in a wide range of styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Philippine Folk Dance. They now focus primarily on Modern and Ballet techniques. Andie has worked with dancers of all levels, teaching ages 3-18yrs both at recreation centres and Illusion Dance Arts, and travelled to collaborate with serveral performance groups across the Philippines. Andie  is an active member of the Kemora Manning Dance Collective based in Toronto, where they continue to expand their creative practice and perform professionally. They are wonderful will all ages/levels so we are thrilled to have Andie return to IDA this June to teach our 4-week Parent & Tot, Creative Movement and Ballet/Jazz classes!
